• ILDAN (1st Dan):         First-degree Black Belt    -  Tang Soo Do, World Tang Soo Do Association

Mr Steve began his martial arts training in the late 1980's in World Tang Soo Do.

Receiving his 1st DAN Black Belt in 1994 under GM Jae Chul Shin World Tang Soo Do organization. Even teaching his own satellite school under the guidance of his Instructor.

He went on from there to train in Kickboxing while stationed in the Los Angeles area.

 

Years later, in 2011, he met Mr Cort at a local gym where Mr Cort was teaching an adult Taekwondo & Boxing class. He was very interested in seeing how Taekwondo had progressed over the years into the Olympic sport it is now. He began training with him and after 5 years he received his 1st DAN Kukkiwon Black Belt in October of 2016.

In March of 2019, he was tested and promoted to 2nd DAN Black Belt, and 3rd DAN in May of 2021. 

 

Mr Steve started teaching the Wednesday night TKD class in May, 2016.

He has be teaching the Thursday night sparring Class since July of 2020.

 

He is also a certified coach with

USAT & World Taekwondo.
